The house, located on Saddle Creek Run, was completely consumed by the sinkhole, leaving only a gaping crater in its place. Tragically, one person was inside the house at the time of the collapse. The victim, identified as 60-year-old Jeffrey Bush, was unable to escape and is presumed dead. Firefighters and emergency responders rushed to the scene and worked throughout the night to secure the area. They cordoned off the neighborhood and evacuated nearby homes as a precaution. Geologists believe the sinkhole was formed by a combination of heavy rainfall and the underlying limestone geology common in Florida.
