Lottery officials said the winner has not yet come forward to claim their prize. They have 180 days to do so. The jackpot-winning numbers were 14, 20, 39, 59, and 63. The Mega Ball number was 13. The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302.6 million. This is the second Mega Millions jackpot won in South Dakota in recent history. In 2011, a Rapid City man won $50 million. The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling over since July 29, when a group of 11 co-workers in California won $543 million. Lottery officials urged all Mega Millions players to check their tickets carefully. The winning ticket is the only one that matches all six numbers drawn. The winner of the Mega Millions jackpot has the option of taking the prize as a lump sum of $58.4 million or as an annuity paid out over 30 years.
